Travel
Göteborg has two main airports: Landvetter Airport (GOT), served by all major European airlines, and Göteborg City Airport (GCA), served mainly by Ryanair. In addition, the railroad network connects Göteborg to other cities like Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen. There are also several ferry connections. Nordisk Storstadskonferens 2009 will take place at Radisson SAS Göteborg.
Located in the heart of the city, Radisson SAS is within walking distance from main attractions and landmarks as well as the business districts. The central rail station lies directly in front of the hotel and also provides links to airport buses and the tram system.

Scandinavian languages are the official languages of the congress. Interpretation to other languages will be available.
Weather
The weather in October is often pleasant, usually with temperatures reaching +5to 15°C during the daytime. It can however be warmer or chillier, therefore bring warm clothes and as well as a raincoat/umbrella in case of light shower.
